Electric Bed and Equipment Campaign

There are many major gift opportunities available at the Jewish Eldercare Centre. Your gift of $3,500 or more will be used to purchase electric beds, specialized mattresses and other state-of-the-art equipment which offer much deserved comfort and independence to our residents.

We would be pleased to meet with you to discuss your desired level of support, as well as your much-deserved recognition.

Tribute Cards

Tribute Cards sent on your behalf by the Jewish Hospital of Hope Eldercare Foundation are an ideal way to express condolences, honour a family member or friend, or celebrate a joyous occasion. During the holidays, send us your list of family and friends and we will take care of your holiday greetings for a special rate. At the same time, you are supporting initiatives to improve the quality of life of our residents.

A beautiful and artistic card is mailed with your personal message and an acknowledgement of your generous donation to the Foundation.

The minimum recommended donation is $18 or multiples of $18.

Bequests and Planned Giving

Plan now to make a gift in the future, to help ensure that the Jewish Eldercare Centre continues its vital mission to care for our mothers, fathers and loved ones who have helped build this community and now need us to help them.

Planned Gifts are generally funded from a donor’s assets, rather than from a person’s current income. The easiest and most common form of planned gift is a bequest made through your will. The donor’s estate almost always receives major tax benefits from a charitable bequest.

Other types of planned gifts which will benefit the Jewish Eldercare Centre are: Gift Annuities, Gifts of Residual Interest, Charitable Remainder Trusts, Life Insurance Policies and Gifts of Securities.

Some forms of planned gifts allow you to make a gift in the future, while receiving significant tax benefits during your lifetime.
